I love to cook – it is a great way to relax for me!

MAIRANGI BAY AUCKLAND 

I am a kiwi girl, born and raised on the North Shore of Auckland. Mother of two gorgeous grown up girls and naturally cooking was always a daily event as a mum. Many fond memories of food and laughter and gatherings with family and friends. And of course so lucky to live in New Zealand where we have been fortunate to have been introduced to so many different cultures and flavours.

I wanted to share some of my ideas and experiences, so I began this blog. I like to cook with everyday ingredients, but sometimes I splash out and buy something a bit out of the ordinary to play with! Life’s too short to eat bad food...

I hope you come to read and share my experiences and try my recipes...this blog has become my passion, combining two of my loves – cooking and writing!
